Planning Weekend,     9/6-8/2002
After the soothing and productive swim session,
(three second class swim tests were passed), it
was back to Shelter B and class "A's" for dinner.

9/8, Sunday: After an early reveille and breakfast
we packed the vehicles quickly. An unexpected
surprise, the archery range was open and we
were the only troop left in Alpine (there were two
troops to start).

The ten boys had nearly 90 minutes of
uninterrupted shooting and coaching.

A quick sandwich lunch, another departure from
the normal routine, and then off for home, Early.
We were home by 1:30 PM, as requested from
some of school challenged individuals (first week,
you know).

6 Junior Leaders, 4 Scouts and two Adults
participated in the Planning Weekend. The
decisions made were based on the program
ballots turned in. They planned a challenging,
busy and fun filled year for 2002-2003. If, even,
only 70% of the planned activities  are
accomplished.
Good Job! Now let's advance and have some fun.
