ABOUT THE TREE TRAIL

The initial trail was conceived and developed as an aid for the campers working on their First
Class, Forestry MB and Nature MB requirements, primarily Tree identification. It is not meant
as a substitute to passing the requirements as written in the MB book.

It is hoped that the trail will continue to be improved, by further tree identification and possibly
transplanting. Many of the common trees are not readily available in a concentrated area in
the Aquehonga camp. Therefore, it is conceivable that the missing common trees could be
transplanted and incorporated within the existing nature trail.

“ BRING A TREE TO CAMP ”

Improve YOUR Tree Trail!

It could become a Troop project. Find a common tree that is not on the trail, but is indigenous
to the camp.

Transplant it to the Aquehonga Tree Identification Trail.
Make sure you coordinate your
project with the proper camp staff and authorities.
