After the climbing wall, a nature walk around the
area. The scouts identified poison ivy and were
taught how to identify several common trees
found in the camp. At night the boys built a
roaring campfire.
Sunday - During the morning rain the boys
spent the time in the activity center, climbing the
shorter wall and playing games. Foosball
seems to be more popular than ping pong
these days. The afternoon was spent navigating
the camp's map and compass course. The
younger scouts in teams of two were able to
complete the course in no time at all. The junior
leaders spent most of the day planning the
annual calendar of events for the 2003-2004
scout year.
