| Aquehonga Tour After a late friday night arrival, (2 flat tires, one on each vehicle), Saturday morning begins with a tour of the camp. Primarily to benefit new members so they may get a feel for what summer camp is all about. |
The main stops: Obstacle course,
Scoutcraft, High Adventure, Services Building,
Handycraft Lodge, Pool, Nature Lodge, and
the Waterfront. Scouts experienced a little bit of
the 40 miles of trails available on TMR.

| Pebble Rock While the food shopping crew are in town buying the grocery needs for the rest of the trip. The junior leaders and adult staff put on a clinic for the scouts who have never rappelled before. This is done on pebble rock, an eight foot rock in the back of our campsite. Here they receive the fundementals as well as intense safety training. After tying their own swiss seat, and waiting their turn patiently they get to practice the skills taught in class, hoping to be ready for Thunderhawk. |
